Turning over a new leaf

I didnt like the way my blog was. VERY boring and stupid. So I deleted all my previous entries. So I am going to reintroduce myself. I am a 23 yr old dental assistant. I am married to my bestfriend, my angel Jake. We have a cozy little home in our hometown and 2 cute little k-9 babies. Scarlett is our first "born" she is 3 and was rescued by us when she was 4 months old and living a sad little life in a kennel at a shelter. Who on earth would get rid of her?! she is ALWAYS happy and is just like me. We love our sleep and walks! Cady is our dauchund she is a mess. We got her from a friend and have had her since she was 6 weeks old. She loooves Jake, she has the hardest time sleeping when he isnt home..craziness.

Jake just started a new job on monday and LOVES it! its a better paying job and makes him so happy and fulfilled. He is also a volunteer in our state guard and loves that also. He just left for a weekend with them a few hours ago...I miss him terribly when he goes but I know he is doing good things. He is an amazing person!

My family is by far the most important thing in my life! I have a wide variety of family members, some are Lithuanian and others are just rednecks, but I love them all dearly!
My mom is my hero, she has been through alot, we have our ups and downs and arguments but at the end of the day she is still and will always be my mommy

My sister is a MESS she just started her 6th grade school year...she is now a big middleschooler! ahhh She is so smart and talented and I am so thankful to be her sister.

My dad is a great man. He has his own set of issues. He battles addictions and that breaks my heart, I pray everyday he can be bigger than the addictions.

My nanny is my heart, she is such a precious lady. She melts my heart every time I see her smile and hear her addicting laugh. She is my dads mom and is such a strong woman, I look up to her so much. I am so thankful that I get to see her everyday. It gives me a reason to get up in the morning, knowing she cant wait to see me either.

My papa is such a determined man! He has been married to my nanny for 35 years. He is the only "papa" I have known on my dads side, and I am perfectly fine with that. He just recently lost his leg to diabetes and is now battling his open wound (that I clean and bandage everyday)but still puts a smile on his face every day he wakes up! As soon as he gets his prosthetic we wont be able to get him to sit.

I dont get to see my grandparents on my moms side near as often as I would like. But I still love them dearly! Wish we lived closer, but it is what it is.

Jake and I have always wanted children! We know that when God is ready for us to expand our family, it will happen. Its a tough road getting there though. I love children, they love life and are so happy all the time. I get very attached to every child in my life. I want so badly to have my own soon. BUT God knows how much Jake and I want them. He will bless us with a baby when it is time. Until then, we will continue to be a part of the youth at our church and spend time loving those sweet teenagers. Many of them have stolen my heart and taught me so much more than I could ever teach them. I LOVE God more than anything in this world! He has blessed us so much than I can every wrap my head around.

We are going to have an exciting rest of the year...my birthday is WEDNESDAY! woooooot! Jakes birthday is Sept 21st and our anniversary is the 27th! then comes fall! which means football games and pumpkin scented candles! Then we have an amazing wedding that I get to be apart of. I cant wait to be up there watching my almost sister Courtney and her love Kyle get married! I am so honored and excited to do all the fun stuff for the wedding!

The girls are going crazy so I better go let them out!
